Home Sweet Home Pet Care will obtain a key from you at the initial in-home consultation and keep it on file until our services are no longer necessary. All keys are kept in a secure location, locked and cross-coded so your address is not associated with your key. If you are not comfortable keeping a key on file, it can be returned once you are back home. There will be a necessary trip fee for us to obtain a key for future visits.
Keeping a key on file can also be helpful if you find yourself locked out of your home. For a small charge, a pet care provider will come to unlock your door.
- $5 for repeated service pick-up (if key is not kept on file)
- $10 if accidentally locked out of your house
