VP of Warmth and Security - Samantha is a medium-haired tuxedo. She is 6 years old and was rescued as an abandoned apartment kitty at 6 months of age. Samantha is just plain sweet, but don't mistake her as a pushover. She keeps an eye on her territory and doesn't hesitate to send visiting cats on their way. Samantha is very shy at first, but once she is satisfied that you are trustworthy, she is a good, loyal friend. Samantha loves looking out the window and having her belly rubbed.

Senior Care Specialist – Omey is the newest member of our staff. She is a German shorthaired pointer with a little hound mixed in. She is about 10 years old and has the necessary experience to oversee and ensure quality care for our senior clients. Omey was found just before Christmas 2009 wandering the streets, very thin and eating out of a garbage can. She had an eye injury so painful she could not lift her head on her own. A concerned citizen brought Omey to a local veterinary clinic where the loving, compassionate staff provided for her needs. We found Omey through Old Dog Haven, a local non-profit organization, in urgent need of a home. She stole our hearts! Omey is now a happy and healthy member of our family. She loves taking long walks, playing ball, and hanging out with her new family.

Family Members, Joan and Maureen – While Deanna will be your pet’s primary care provider, in keeping with Home Sweet Home’s philosophy that no pet goes uncared for, we have two back-up/emergency care providers. Joan and Maureen are family members who share a passion for animals. Our staff is purposely limited to family members in order to ensure reliable care in keeping with Home Sweet Home’s policies.
While you and your pet(s) may never have occasion to meet Joan or Maureen, you can rest assure that they are there to care for your pets if the need arises.
